ARTIFACT:
This is a wonderful World War I United States Air Service enlisted man tunic with a French-made 2nd Air Park Artillery Observation School shoulder patch and some overseas stripes. This uniform is sadly unnamed. The jacket has a maker label inside the lining.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War I.
SIZE:
Approximate Size small (no tag). Approximately 17-1/2" from armpit to armpit; 27-1/2" length from collar to hem (on reverse); 23" from shoulder seam to cuff; 16" between shoulders.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Wool, twill lining, brass, multi-piece wool embroidered with bullion.
ATTACHMENT:
Buttons, hook and eye at collar.
MARKINGS:
Cohen, Goldman & Co. New York Contract July 3, 1918 69722??? label inside jacket lining.
ITEM NOTES:

7+ (Very Fine+): The jacket has some light to medium overall wear and the bottom button is missing.
