ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful World War II United States Navy 17th CBS (Special Naval Construction Battalion) badge chained to a bar for two battle stars. The badge and bar are both in sterling silver and enamel. The badge reads THEY SHALL NOT WANT.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Pins: approximately 15/16" in diameter and 3/16" in height and 1/2" in width; chain: about 1-1/2" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Pins with drop-in locking swivel catches; chain.

MARKINGS: W.A. CO. STERLING on badge; STERLING on bar.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows hardly any wear with some small areas of light to medium tarnish.
