ARTIFACT: Wonderful and extremely rare, uncatalogued WWII United States Army Air Forces 90th Bomb Group DI, theater-made in silver. The 90th BG was nicknamed the 'Jolly Roger' and this rare DI is in the shape of the group's insignia a skull and crossed bombs.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/16" x 1"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver, solder

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF Distinctive Insignia collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEJM15 LAAGEX9/15 SVAJBEX04/18

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The DI shows minor to moderate wear and overall handsome patina.
