ARTIFACT: This is a great circa 1950's United Air Lines stewardess photo identification badge. On the badge is a picture of the stewardess holding up her name card, which reads, "CNDACE C. SORENSEN." Below that is an Identification Number "6 1118." The reverse of the badge outlines personal information, such as weight, height, hair and eye color, date of birth, etc.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/4" x 2-1/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Laminate, paper, and aluminum ball chain.

ATTACHMENT: Aluminum ball chain

MARKINGS: Obverse: "UNITED AIR LINES. CANDACE C. SORENSEN. 6 1118 Reverse: See attached image

Ball Chain: "BALL CHAIN. MT. VERNON, NY."

ITEM NOTES: This is from an Airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAJV17 LAFEX03/17

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine +): The laminate is scratched and somewhat dirty, but the paper and picture inside are well preserved.
