This is a stewardess badge from Air Vietnam. The badge resembles a flag as it is an embroidered blue silk panel slipped over one post at its left edge. The front shows the airline's terrific dragon logo against yellow and red stripes and the reverse shows the head, tusks and trunk of an elephant.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s-1960s.
SIZE:2-1/4" height and 3-1/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silk embroidered in cotton/silk threads and edged in tinsel threads, brass post.
ATTACHMENT:Badge slips over brass post.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Badge shows very little wear save for some to the delicate edging.
