This is a Wonderful Circa 1900 Alfred Dunhill 9K Gold & Gutta Percha 2 Piece /cigar Holder. Gutta Percha is an early type of plastic, and remained an industrial staple well into the 20th century, when it was gradually replaced with superior synthetic materials such as Bakelite,
