This is a wonderful Citizen's Military Training Canps (CMTC) belt buckle. It was manufactured by Hamlin Belt Company of Greensboro, North Carolina, and made in Nickel plated brass. The face of the buckle has a peace-time war eagle, evidenced by the head of the eagle facing towards the olive branches to the left rather than the arrows to the right. The banners on the buckle are painted in red, white, and blue.
Appr: 2-3/16" x 3"
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Nickel Plated Brass, Painted details
"HAMLIN BELT CO. GREENSBORO NC"
This is from a CMTC collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJZ17 LBCEX10/17
7+ (Very Fine+): The buckle has some tarnish around the edges and the paint is dirty, but overall in Very Fine + condition.
GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
