ARTIFACT: Scarce 1920's – 1930's United States Citizen's Military Training Corps Instructor/Officer Belt Buckle. The buckle features a wonderfully detailed eagle from the Seal of the United States, clutching an olive branch in one talon and arrows in the other, the eagle's chest bears the US Shield and its wings are spread open wide. Above the eagle displays the raised letters: "C. M. T. C."

VINTAGE: Circa 1920's – 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Loop, plated and catch for attachment to belt.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a citizen's military collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX15 LAFEX5/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The belt shows minor to moderate wear mostly to high points, nearly all of the plating details remain intact.
