ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1920s or 1930s lapel pin for the Citizens' Military Training Corps. The National Defense Act of 1920 created the CMTC so that male citizens could receive military training without signing up for the service. The CMTC held classes (camps) each summer from 1921 through 1940.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1/2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt brass, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with domes disc backing, stabilization post.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Citizens' Military Training Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX04 LCEX6/12 SCEX12/15

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin shows only very light wear and tarnish.
