ARTIFACT: This is a mint 1930 Citizens' Military Training Corps (CMTC) shooting medal from Fort Adams, in Newport, Rhode Island. The medal is by Dieges & Clust, and is engraved on reverse with the words R.B.R. BASIC RIFLE MATCH 1930.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/8" in height and 1-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper-plated brass/bronze, silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with C catch on bar, suspension ring.

MARKINGS: DIEGES & CLUST and maker's mark on medal; WHITEHEAD & HOAG PAT. APPL'D FOR on bar.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCJX11 LHEX9/11 SHEX5/17

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The medal is minty with some very small spots of oxidation.
