This is a wonderful 1890's New York State Licensed Detective Badge, number 41This is a well detailed gold plated brass badge with copper numbers. The catch is in working condition and the patina is beautiful.

Circa 1890's.

Approximately 2" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

Gold Plated Brass, Copper Numbers.

Vertical pin with forked locking catch.

"DETECTIVE. 41LICENSED BY STATE N.Y."
