This is a great circa 1890s "Old West" private detective badge. The badge is a small five-point star in nickel with a hand lead-soldered brass safety-style pin. The star has some small decorative tulips and a star.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 2" in width.
