ARTIFACT: This is a wonderful 1860's or possibly even earlier police badge made from a Pre-18.62 Seated Liberty Half Dollar that appears to have a low-karat gold inlay which reads "3RD WARD. POLICE. G.W.K." The G.W.K. is the initials of the original wearer. This badge is most likely from either the Baltimore or Philadelphia Area.

VINTAGE: Circa 1860's.

SIZE: Size 1-1/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Coin silver.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical T pin with open C catch.
