ARTIFACT: This is a mid-1930s pin from the Cologne Ford automotive plant in Germany. The enameled pin shows the blue Ford oval at right angles to and superimposed upon a white oval framing two elegant spires. The pin reads FORD AM RHEIN KOLN (Ford Cologne on the Rhein) FORD DEUTSCHES ERZEUGNIS (Ford German product).

VINTAGE: Circa mid-1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height and 13/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS: GES GESCH.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an automotive collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX10 LHEX1/11 SHEX12/18

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The pin has only a slight ding to the enamel and moderate tarnish only on the back.
