ARTIFACT: This is a scarce, early service lapel pin from Mid-Continent Airlines, which was established in 1928 in Iowa, but became part of Braniff International Airways in 1952. The pin is a petite wing with MCA on a blue enameled field at center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 5/16" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with enameled areas.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: GREEN K.C.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin shows light wear and tarnish.
