This is a mid-1950s lapel pin for one year of service with Capital Airlines, which merged with United Airlines in 196The pin is a petite wing in a lovely coppery tone and shows a bird-turned-plane and five stars at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/8" in height and 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:None.
