ARTIFACT: This is a mid-1950s lapel pin for one year of service with Capital Airlines, which merged with United Airlines in 1961. The pin is a petite wing in a lovely coppery tone and shows a bird-turned-plane and five stars at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa mid-1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 3/8" in height and 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airlines collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX00 LFJX7/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light wear only.
