Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a great circa 1930s anti-Prohibition celluloid pin. Prohibition lasted from 1920 through 193The pin is in bright yellow and shows an Al Capone-esque man at center. It reads VOTE FOR (A SPEAKEASY) PROHIBITION, and was made by the L. A. Stamp & Stationery Company.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/4" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT:

Straight pin with loop catch.

MARKINGS:
