Description
This is a circa 1970s lapel pin for thirty years of membership with the United Transportation Union (UTU). Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the UTU formed on the first day of 1969, consolidating four large pre-existing unions. A member's longevity with their original union carried over to the UTU. The union includes members working in the railway and airline industries, as well as other forms of public transportation. The pin is gold-filled and enameled in red, white and blue.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately 7/16" in height and 1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:Union mark, 1/10 10K GF.
