This is a circa 1970s member lapel pin for the United Transportation Union (UTU). Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the UTU formed on the first day of 1969, consolidating four large pre-existing unions. The union includes members working in the railway and airline industries, as wellas other forms of public transportation. The pin is enameled in red, white and blue.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:Approximately " in height and in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:Union mark.
