ARTIFACT: 1970's United States Veteran's Administration 10 year service lapel pin. An eagle with wings spread tops the badge, a white enamel banner over its chest that reads: "SERVICE". The center of the lapel pin features a white enameled triangle that reads: "10" and surrounding: "UNITED STATES". The base of the lapel pin reads: VETERANS ADMINISTRATION" in a white enameled banner.

VINTAGE: Circa 1970's

SIZE: Approximately ??" x 9/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, gilt brass

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin with clutch back.

MARKINGS: "L. I. ??? GI"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Veteran's collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX98 LBGX7/15

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine - Very Fine): The lapel pin shows minor to moderate wear, small area of color (in enamel) near number 10, and much of the gilt and enamel details remain intact.
