ARTIFACT:
This is an early 1970's pin for twenty years of service with Allegheny Airlines, which flew out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1952 to 1979, when it changed its named to USAir. The pin is by Balfour. The main part of the pin has a diamond chip and is joined to small bar by a chain.
VINTAGE:
Circa early 1970's.
SIZE:
Approximately 3/8" in height x 5/8" in length (not including chain).
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold-filled brass, diamond chip.
ATTACHMENT:
Post with covered clutchback, chain, bar.
MARKINGS:
B (Balfour) mark 1/10 10K.
