This is a Vietnam era recommissioning plaque for the United States Navy 12th Mobile Construction Battalion. The plaque has a painted aluminum medallion showing the Roman numeral XII spanning a map of New England at its center and a brass tab reading RECOMMISSIONED 28 JUNE 1968.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam War.
SIZE:Approximately 10-1/4" in height and 8-5/8" in width and 1" thick.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted aluminum, anodized aluminum, wood, brass.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
