This is a very rare United States Army Air Forces Technical Training Command (TTC) flight instructor wing in sterling silver. The wing has a nicely enameled crest at its center showing the "lamp of knowledge" with three feathers and reads SUSTINEO ALAS (I Sustain the Wings).
Circa World War II.
Approximately 1" height and 3" width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver with enamel.
Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
