ARTIFACT: This is a nice World War II United States Army Air Forces Technical Training Command (TTC). In gold felt with blue embroidery, the patch shows the "e;lamp of knowledge"e; with three feathers at its center and reads SUSTINEO ALAS (I Sustain the Wings).

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 4-1/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Felt embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEX11 LAGEX6/11 SAEJX04/20

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The patch shows only very light wear.
