This is a nice World War II United States Army Air Forces Technical Training Command (TTC). In gold felt with blue embroidery, the patch shows the "e;lamp of knowledge"e; with three feathers at its center and reads SUSTINEO ALAS (I Sustain the Wings).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 4-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Felt embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
