ARTIFACT: This is a very rare jacket patch for the United States Air Force War Eagles 13th Flight Training Squadron. The patch shows a figure in Elizabethan costume with a horseshoe sitting on an eagle. The patch reads WAR EAGLE SQUADRON 13.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 5-1/16" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Red canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored cotton/silk threads with a muslin backing.
