Very Rare Silver MIL Valor Document & Medal to Fausto Fornaci, 9 Kill Ace RSI Period

A very rare and hard to find RSI period medal group to a pilot, Sgt. Major Fausto Fornaci, 9 Kill Ace of the ANR (Aeronautica Nazionale Republicana), the newly formed post-Italian armistice air force allied with Nazi Germany. Group includes the Al Valore Militare medal, silver grade, RSI model. As well as an original copy of his citation and award document. Also included is a copy of his photograph.

Approximately: Document: 11-3/4" in height x 20-3/8" in width. Medal: 4-1/8" in height x 1-1/2" in width. Silver Medal: 1-3/8" in diameter.
