Description
This is a large and impressive Slovakian Air Force officer's dagger. This piece is very rare, as there were only 50 Slovakian pilots active in World War II. The grip is brass with portions enameled in white, and the crossguard has a decorative disc with the Slovakian coat of arms (double-cross and mountains). The top of the crossguard has a decorative tiled pattern. The obverse ricasso bears a maker mark. It is unclear whether the brown suede on the scabbard is original.
