ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful circa World War II Model 1932 Hungarian Air Force dagger. The pilot who used this dagger had his monogram engraved upon the front of the scabbard. The handle is in Bakelite and is topped with an eagle's head. This dagger has an unusual release button integrated into the scabbard upon the opposite side from the great wing guard.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Dagger: approximately 13" in length and 4-5/8" in width; scabbard: approximately " in length and 1" in width; blade only: approximately 9-5/8" in length and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt and silver-plated brass, nickeled steel blade, Bakelite handle.

ATTACHMENT: Rings on scabbard.

MARKINGS: GCZ (pilot's monogram) on scabbard.
