ARTIFACT: This is a scarce hardcover copy of the United States Navy book entitled: "The Cruise Record of the 95th Naval Construction Battalion: April 1943 to September 1945". Also known as "Seabees", members of the Naval Construction Battalions were responsible for many engineering tasks, including building of docks and piers. This book has several photos documenting the travels of the 95th throughout the Pacific Theatre.

VINTAGE: Circa post-World War II (1945?).

SIZE: 213 pages with black and white (and some one-color) photographs; approximately 12-3/8" in height and 9-3/8" in width and 1-1/4" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover, glossy paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: ROGERS PRINTING CO. CHICAGO and DIXON, ILLINOIS; MOLLOY MADE maker stamp on back cover.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The book is in very fine condition with some wear to the ends of the spine, a small ding to the back cover and minor smudge marks on title page.
