This is a super rare spiked nineteenth century billy club in a beautiful reddish wood. All the spikes are present, but just are not lined up correctly. The club has a slit through the body where a leather strap could be inserted to pull the steel rod in the club: when this takes place, the spikes protrude.
VINTAGE:Circa 1889.
SIZE:13-3/8" length and 1-3/16" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wood, metal.
