Stunning WWII Yard-Made Submarine Desk Plaque Model in Bakelite & Monel

This is a stunning World War II United States Navy submarine desk plaque in Bakelite and Monel. This plaque is yard made, and was done either at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (Portsmouth, NH/Kittery, ME) or at New London, Connecticut. The rectangular plaque itself is in sleek black Bakelite and the 3-D submarine at center is in Monel. It has an arm on the reverse which allows it to stand up.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 3-7/16" in height and 7-5/8" in length.
