ARTIFACT:

This is a submarine pin made at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, New Hampshire/Kittery, Maine. It would have been worn during World War II by both sailors and ship yard workers.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 9/16" in height and 2-15/16" in length.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.

None.
