WWII ELCO (Electric Boat Co.) Yard-Made Homefront Submarine Badge

This is a classic patriotic homefront World War II Elco (Electric Boat Company) yard-made submarine badge. Begun in 1892, Elco manufactured several types of boats, including yachts, power boats and boats for the United States Coast Guard and Navy. The sub is a streamlined design with a few simple details such as portholes.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 5/8" in height and 3-1/16" in width.

Plated brass.
