Description
This is a stunning 1930s Romanian Air Force pilot hat badge in bullion. The badge is a large golden eagle bearing the back-to-back double "C" cypher of King Carol II. He ruled Romania from 1930 until 1940, when he went into exile in Mexico, and later, Portugal. This badge came to us with a few other Romanian Air Force items: we are not sure if they all originated with the same owner (please see the links at the bottom of this page for more information).
