ARTIFACT:

This is an extremely rare circa 1920s Romanian Air Force officer hat badge. The large badge is an eagle embroidered in gold bullion bearing a silver embroidered cypher of Ferdinand I, a back-to-back double "F". King Ferdinand I of Romania reigned from 1914 until his death in 1927.at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-5/16" in height and 3-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt embroidered in bullion, paper backing.
