This is a rare circa World War I or 1920s Romanian Air Force observer badge. The lightweight badge is a finely detailed wing bearing the cypher of Ferdinand I, a back-to-back double "F". King Ferdinand I of Romania reigned from 1914 until his death in 1927.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I-1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
