ARTIFACT: This is a stunning and beautiful circa 1942 pilot wing, 1st issue for Colonial Airlines. Originally christened in 1928 as Canadian Colonial Airways, Colonial was renamed May 1, 1942 and operated through the 1950s, when it merged with Eastern. The jacket size wing is in sterling silver and enamel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1942.

SIZE: Approximately 1" in height by 3-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.
