This is a rare and beautiful circa 1942 flight attendant wing 1st issue for Colonial Airlines. Originally christened in 1928 as Canadian Colonial Airways, Colonial was renamed May 1, 1942 and operated through the 1950s, when it merged with Eastern. The shirt size wing is in unmarked sterling silver and enamel.
VINTAGE:Circa 1942.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in height by 2-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:Unmarked.
