This is World War II United States Marine Corps son-in-service pin by J. O. Pollack. The pin is chained, with a small eagle, globe and anchor on one side and a blue star within a red rectangle as the other.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Pins: about 3/8" by 1/2" and 1/2" by 1/2"; chain: about 1" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, painted details.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pins, chain.
MARKINGS:STERLING; J.O. POLLACK.
