Sterling WWII USAAF Heart-Shaped Son-in-Service Chained Pin

This is a heart-shaped World War II United States Air Corps son-in-service pin in sterling silver. The heart-shaped pin shows a single blue star at its center against a field of white and it is joined by a chain to a small winged propeller.

Circa World War II.

Heart pin: approximately 7/16" in height and 3/8" in width; wing: approximately 3/8" in height and 5/8" in width; chain: 1-3/4" long.

Sterling silver with enamel.

Horizontal safety-style pins; chain.
