This is a sterling silver World War II United States Coast Guard son-in-service pin. The pin is in two parts, with one being a rectangle bearing a single star at its center and the other being a crest set against two crossed anchors.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height (including chain) and 3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin, chain, suspension loops.
MARKINGS:STERLING.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light wear and small areas of tarnish.
