ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Civil Air Patrol (CAP) pilot wing. The buffer went a bit hard on this wing while finishing the enamel at the factory. The wing is in sterling silver with red and blue enamel and was made by Robbins Co. of Attleboro, Massachusetts.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 2-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. PGEX13 LAGEX5/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine+): The wing shows some small areas of light wear and tarnish and has been a bit over-buffed.
