ARTIFACT:

This is a sterling silver World War II United States Army 14th Air Force distinctive insignia pin. The pin shows a winged tiger with a rising star behind him.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

7/8" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

STERLING.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): The pin is beautifully colored and shows minimal signs of wear with tarnishing on reverse.
