ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War II Bendix Aviation war worker Merit Award lapel pin. Bendix Aviation started up in 1929 by Victor Bendix, the owner of an earlier automobile parts company of the same name. The pin is in enameled sterling silver.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 5/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX13 LFEX2/13 SEEX2/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light wear and tarnish.
