This is a circa World War II Bendix Aviation war worker Merit Award lapel pin. Bendix Aviation started up in 1929 by Victor Bendix, the owner of an earlier automobile parts company of the same name. The pin is in enameled sterling silver.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5/16" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
