Description
This is a sterling World War II Maritime Commission Award lapel pin. The red, white, and blue enamel detailed pin reads: "AWARD OF MERIT" along the top with a raised eagle embellishment in the center that reads: "SHIPS FOR VICTORY" and the very base reads: "MARITIME COMMISSION".
VINTAGE:Circa WWII.
SIZE:About 9/16" in width by 7/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with enamel detail.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop in locking catch.
