This is a World War II sterling silver lapel pin from Boston Naval Shipyard, for the Idea Award. IDEA is spelled out on the badge forming the stem of an anchor.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1/2" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:CORO STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a Naval shipyard collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX95 LDEX9/10
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin shows light wear and tarnish, mostly on reverse.
