This is a rare World War II sterling silver war worker merit award pin from Glenn L. Martin Company, the root company of today's Lockheed-Martin. The pin is by Robbins, and is a plane superimposed upon a V with some enameled details.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:15/16" height and 13/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:ROBBINS STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from an aviation company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDJX08 LABEX6/10 SABEX4/11
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Pin has nice coloring, light to medium wear and an overall tarnish.
