ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces distinctive insignia for the 14th Air Force in sterling silver. The pin shows a winged tiger with a rising star behind him.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Sterling silver with enamel, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT:

Diagonal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

STERLING.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin shows some light abrasions to the enamel and tarnish.
