Sterling DI for US Army 22nd Infantry Regiment by Meyer

This is a distinctive insignia in sterling silver by Meyer for the United States Army 22nd Infantry Regiment. The DI is a blue and white crest divided by a castle wall motif. The crest bears a pinwheel of arrows and a great sun with its face in relief.

Circa World War II era.

1-1/16" height and 7/8" width.

Sterling silver with enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

Meyer maker's mark and STERLING.
