ARTIFACT: This is a glass paperweight from the Spanish-American War featuring war hero Admiral George Dewey, whose fleet defeated Spain at Manila Bay on May 1, 1898, and the USS Olympia, Dewey's flagship.

VINTAGE: Circa Spanish-American War.

SIZE: 2-1/2" length and 3-15/16" width and 15/16" depth.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass with printed and glued paper insert.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: PYROPHOTO CO., 45 & 47 CROSEY ST., NEW YORK.
